The San Francisco-based social media giant Reddit is currently experiencing a significant outage that has lasted for approximately 90 minutes. The website’s status page shows that the company is investigating the outage, which is affecting the website and its iOS and Android versions. Reddit has attributed the outage to an “internal systems issue.”

While the homepage is still accessible for users who are not logged in, users who are logged in are unable to access the site. Instead, they receive an error message stating, “Something went wrong. Just don’t panic.” Videos and photos on the homepage are still loading correctly.

It is unclear whether the outage is related to the strong winds currently affecting the Bay Area, which have caused power outages and toppled trees. Reddit has not yet provided a comment on the situation.
