Are you excited for the new expansion pack of The Sims 4 called “Growing Together”? According to a news post by EA last month, this highly anticipated expansion will be released on Thursday, March 16th at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM UTC for both consoles and PC.

The pre-order option for consoles is already available, with a price tag of $39.99. However, the PC version’s pre-purchase option is not yet active on Steam. If you are an EA Play subscriber, you can avail of a 10% discount when purchasing the new expansion. Moreover, those who purchase the game before April 27th will receive the Outdoor Playtime digital content for free, which includes a few backyard playground items for children.

The Growing Together expansion pack is centered around the theme of family, with a specific focus on the challenges that growing children face before they become independent. Players will get to meet the Michaelsons family, and as the grandparents of Orion visit them, the child’s parents will face some serious dilemmas. Players will be required to make tough decisions that could affect their character’s relationships with their partner or parents. The free infant update that was added today will introduce new family dynamics to further expand the gameplay elements of the Growing Together DLC.

The infant update will add a new life stage to the game, enabling players to experience raising a baby from the very beginning. The update will also come with new skins, appearances, activities, and mechanics. Additionally, players can expect the introduction of a new coastal region, San Sequoia, which will serve as the main setting for the Growing Together story. This region will have a wide variety of outdoor spaces as it is located next to a beautiful ocean bay.

The Sims 4 is currently available for free-to-play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
